The NEET-UG 2025 results are out, ending a day of nervous anticipation for millions of students. For one aspirant from Rajasthan, however, it was the moment his dream became reality. Mahesh Kumar has etched his name at the very top, securing the coveted All-India Rank 1 in the fiercely competitive exam and rising above a field of over two million fellow aspirants.

Following closely behind is Utkarsh Awadhiya from Madhya Pradesh, who secured the second rank.

This year, over 2.2 million students sat for the highly competitive exam, with more than 1.2 million successfully qualifying. While this number is slightly lower than last year, the achievement remains monumental for every single candidate who made the cut.

The list of top achievers also includes Maharashtra's Krishang Joshi at third rank and Delhi's Mrinal Kishore Jha at fourth. Delhi also had a moment of pride with Avika Aggarwal securing the national 5th rank and emerging as the all-India female topper.

Looking at the state-wise results, Uttar Pradesh led the nation with the highest number of students qualifying, followed by Maharashtra and Rajasthan.

The NEET-UG is more than just a test; it's the single gateway for students dreaming of a career in medicine. The results will now determine admissions for around 1,08,000 MBBS seats, as well as spots in dentistry, Ayurveda, and other medical courses across the country.
