Deepika Padukone has boarded Atlee's upcoming film with Allu Arjun. The highly anticipated film, is tentatively titled AA22xA6. Deepika will play the female lead opposite Allu Arjun, which marks her first collaboration with the Pushpa actor and second film with Atlee, after Jawan.
Sharing the news of Deepika Padukone joining the film, the makers shared a video on Instagram and wrote, "The Queen marches to conquer!❤🔥
Welcome onboard @deepikapadukone ✨#TheFacesOfAA22xA6 #AA22xA6 - A Magnum Opus from Sun Pictures💥(sic)".
In the video, Atlee can be seen giving a narration to Deepika and the actress is impressed with the script as she claps and gives thumbs up. It also shows her shooting for some VFX shots, wearing a body suit and head gear, and seating on a VFX horse for some action scenes. It seems she is playing a warrior in the magnum opus.
In April this year, a video was released, where Allu Arjun and Atlee were seen flying to Los Angeles to meet the team of VFX. They were seen discussing the script with the team which impressed them.
The film marks first-ever collaboration of Atlee and Allu Arjun.
Coming back to Deepika Padukone, earlier, she had done pan-Indian projects like Atlee’s Jawan and Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD, for which she received an overwhelming response. The actress was about to share the screen again with Prabhas in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit, but she reportedly demanded for 8-hour shift and high remuneration, which led to alleged feud with Vanga, and she opted to exit the film.
AA22xA6 is Deepika's first film after becoming mother. We hope her role in the film will be as huge as Allu Arjun's.
AA22xA6 is said to explore a “parallel universe” concept and Allu Arjun will be playing three different avatars. Its VFX, which will be done by international studios, will make it a great cinematic spectacle for the audiences. The music will be composed by Sai Abhyankkar.
