On Thursday, June 3, the makers of Coolie unveiled the first look poster of Aamir Khan from the upcoming gangster drama. He can be seen smoking a pipe and flaunting his tattooed bicep. The monochrome picture also shows him with a vest, and wearing a pair of glasses and also a watch. The rugged look of Aamir has got thumbs up from netizens and we are sure, he will fully do justice to his character Dahaa.

The caption read, "Introducing #AamirKhan as Dahaa, from the world of #Coolie. #Coolie is all set to dominate IMAX screens worldwide from August 14th."

Earlier, in an interview with Zoom, Aamir revealed that he joined the project, without even hearing the script. "I really enjoyed doing it and working with Rajini. I am big, huge fan of Rajini. I have a lot of love and respect for Rajini sir. So, I did not even hear the script. When Lokesh told me he wanted me to do a cameo in Rajini sir's movie, I said, 'Done. Whatever it is, I am doing it'," he said.

Recently, there was a report in Pinkvilla claiming that Coolie will have a high-octane 15-minute climax scene, which will be an action-packed face-off between Aamir and Rajinikanth.

About Coolie

Coolie is one of the most-anticipated movies of 2025. It has been produced by Sun Pictures. Apart from Rajinikanth, the film also stars Nagarjuna, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, Reba Monica John, and Monisha Blessy in significant roles. Aamir will have a special cameo appearance.

Coolie will hit theatres on August 14, ahead of Independence Day.
