Aamir Khan's latest release Sitaare Zameen Par, brought back audience to the theaters in large numbers. The film completed its fifth day at the box office on Tuesday. After a thunderous three-day haul, the collections dropped significantly on day 4. It collected only Rs 8.5 crore on its first Monday, and on day 5, the collection was same as it was on the fourth day.

As per a report in Sacnilk, Sitaare Zameen Par earned an estimated Rs 8.50 crore on Tuesday, June 24, taking the total box office collection to Rs 75.15 crore. It is expected to cross the Rs 100 crore mark by the end of this weekend.
The sports drama had an overall 18.87% Hindi occupancy on Tuesday, with maximum occupancy of 25.96% during the night shows and minimum occupancy of 9.28% during the morning shows. Afternoon and evening shows witnessed footfall of 17.95% and 22.29%, respectively.

Sitaare Zameen Par has now beaten the India haul of Aamir's 2022 release, Laal Singh Chaddha. The film made a total of Rs 61.36 crore at the Indian box office, during its lifetime run.
On Monday, Aamir Khan gave a surprise visit to the audience at the theatres after the screening of the film. In a video shared by the makers, he was seen interacting with the fans. The actor also introduced the film's director, RS Prasanna, and other crew members, and said, "Thank you so much for the love you are giving us. We really appreciate and we are really touched."
On Tuesday, Aamir also screened Sitaare Zameen Par for President of India, Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
