The charismatic British forward Harry Kane is Bayern Munich's top-scorer this season and is looking to land a long-awaited first title of his career. But as fate would have it, he is forced to sit out tonight's match, suspended after accumulating five yellow cards.

Play is underway in Leipzig. The hosts are attacking from right to left, and Bayern from left to right. The Red Bulls garner a set-piece from a dangerous position in the fourth minute, but nothing comes of it.

Bayern's wait prolongs. Leipzig have slipped another goal in the 39th minute to take charge of this game. Raum's free-kick finds Klostermann, who awkwardly nods it on off the side of his head but they all count. The hosts now lead 2-0 and Bavarians urgently need to respond, if they are to clinch the Bundesliga title tonight.

The referee blows the whistle to signal the end of the first half. The Harry Kane-less Bayern Munich have found the going tough so far and need to bounce back in the second half, if they are to finally celebrate an impending title triumph.

That is quite a remarkable response from Bayern. They have turned the game around in less than a minute, courtesy goals from Eric Dier and Michael Olise in the 62nd and 63rd minutes, respectively. Dier first heads in Olise's corner and Gnabry then plays Olise in front and the France international makes no mistake. The two-goal Leipzig lead is obliterated and we are all squared up now.

Bayern's incredible comeback is complete. Leroy Sane has latched onto Kimmich's assist to drill the ball into the Leipzig goal and help bring the Bavarians from 0-2 down to 3-2 in front. We are now nearing the full-time whistle and barring something dramatic, Vincent Kompany's men are set to be crowned champions.

What just happened! Leipzig have found an equaliser in the dying seconds via Yussuf Poulsen, and delayed Bayern's title celebrations one more time. The Bavarians earn just one point from this game instead of three, and have to wait once again before clinching the trophy.

Heidenheim goalkeeper Kevin Muller and Bochum forward Philipp Hofmann are both recovering in hospitals after being seriously injured in their teams’ Bundesliga relegation scrap yesterday. Muller had a concussion after being knocked unconscious in a collision with Bochum’s Ibrahima Sissoko, Heidenheim said.

Muller had received lengthy treatment on the field while being shielded from view before he was taken off on a stretcher. Hofmann broke a rib causing a collapsed lung after a collision with Heidenheim’s Marvin Pieringer. Bochum said the injury was “quite life-threatening,” according to an Associated Press report.
