Doubts over India's tour to Bangladesh
Media reports suggest India's tour to Bangladesh scheduled for August-September might not go ahead as planned due to a provocative statement by a retired army official. “If India attacks Pakistan, Bangladesh should occupy the seven states of North-East India. In this regard, I think it is necessary to start a discussion on a joint-military system with China," Maj Gen (retired) ALM Fazlur Rahman, considered a close aide of Bangladesh ruler Mohammed Yunus, said in a Facebook post, triggering reactions from India.
However, nothing has been made official regarding the Bangladesh tour till now.
Bangladesh will reportedly play two T20Is in UAE before landing in Pakistan to play five T20Is in May-June.
