Wimbledon 2025: Emma Raducanu Stuns Marketa Vondrousova To Meet Aryna Sabalenka Next
Emma Raducanu reached the third round at Wimbledon 2025 with a 6-3, 6-3 win over 2023 champion Marketa Vondrousova. In a battle of Grand Slam winners, the British star outplayed her opponent in 81 minutes on Centre Court. Raducanu, who now boasts a 75% win record at Wimbledon, broke early in both sets and never looked back. She next faces world No.1 Aryna Sabalenka. Raducanu is one of three Brits in the third round, alongside Sonay Kartal and Cameron Norrie, while Katie Boulter exited in three sets.
