Wimbledon: Novak Djokovic Reaches 3rd Round For Record 19th Time
Novak Djokovic continued his dominant run at ATP Wimbledon 2025, defeating Dan Evans 6-3, 6-2, 6-0 to reach the third round for a record 19th time -- surpassing Roger Federer’s Open Era tally. It also marked Djokovic’s 99th career win at the tournament. After a slow start where he missed nine break points, the 38-year-old finally broke through and barely looked back. He didn’t face a single break point until the final game and joked post-match about one day sipping margaritas on a beach with Federer and Rafael Nadal. Now, Djokovic will face the fellow Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic in third round on Saturday.
