Greetings and welcome to everyone joining us. We will present to you the build-up and live updates from the matchday 3 group F clash between Borussia Dortmund and Ulsan HD.
The game will kick off at 12:30am IST. The Borussia Dortmund vs Ulsan HD, FIFA Club World Cup 2025 match will be live-streamed for free in India on the DAZN website. It will not be televised on any TV channels in the country.
This is how Dortmund line up for tonight's game against Ulsan:
And here is Ulsan HD's line-up for the match, which will kick off in about 20 minutes time:
We are underway in Cincinnati. Dortmund attacking from right to left and Ulsan from left to right. BVB create an early chance but nothing comes of it. The German giants dominating possession in the first few minutes, as can be expected.
Over at Miami Gardens, Mamelodi Sundowns are locked 0-0 with Fluminense after 24 minutes in the concurrent Group F clash. Whoever wins that game will seal a spot in the knockouts.
And there it is. After threatening to score for all this while, Dortmund finally go ahead in the 36th minute. Daniel Svensson makes the most of Jobe Bellingham's assist to slot it in from his left foot. Dortmund go top of Group F in live standings, and are primed to advance to the round of 16 barring something spectacular from Ulsan.
After three minutes of added time, the first half draws to a close in Cincinnati. Dortmund have had as many as 20 shots on the Ulsan goal, but have only one goal to show so far. That solitary strike would be sufficient to book them a spot in the next round, however, if the South Koreans can't find an equaliser in the next 45 minutes.
The second half gets underway. Dortmund now attacking from left to right and Ulsan from right to left. The South Korean team will look to press forward and break the shackles early, or else the German giants could well run away with this match.
Dortmund have a triple substitution in the 58th minute. Julian Brandt replaces Felix Nmecha, Julien Duranville comes in for Karim Adeyemi and Maximilian Beier is in for Jobe Bellingham. Ulsan, meanwhile, create their best chance of the game in the 60th but Lee Jin-Hyun's left-footed shot is saved by Gregor Kobel.
The players stop for the final cooling break of the match. As it stands, the only way Dortmund can be knocked out is if Ulsan find two goals and Mamelodi Sundowns beat Fluminense at the Hard Rock Stadium. Hard to see that happening as of now, but never say never in football.
The 90 minutes are done and dusted. Four minutes of stoppage time added. Dortmund almost score off a corner but Waldemar Anton's header goes wide.
That's it. The referee blows the final whistle and Dortmund have done enough to qualify for the next round. The 1-0 victory puts the Bundesliga club on top of Group F's live standings. They might not stay there if Fluminense score late in stoppage time against Mamelodi Sundowns, but a second spot is guaranteed for the German giants.
