During the ongoing Third Test between England and India at Lord's, Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj had a cheeky dig at Joe Root on Thursday. It came about when the hosts struggled to get into their 'Bazball' groove as the Indian pace attack of Jasprit Bumrah, Siraj, Akash Deep and Nitish Kumar Reddy stifled the run-flow.

While the England batters were in full flow in Leeds, there wasn't single sign of Bazball at Lord's on Thursday as the batters could not score a single run in 29 deliveries at one stage.
With English batters looking to defend and defend, Siraj tried to spice up the atmosphere post-lunch when he went up to Root by asking, "where's the bazball?" and tried getting into the minds of the opponent. "Root? Where's the bazball," Siraj was heard saying on the stump mic.
“Baz, Baz, Bazball. Come on, I want to see, Siraj mentioned as the likes of Shubman Gill and vice-captain Rishabh Pant enjoyed the banter from behind the wickets.

Not only Siraj, but even Gill tried to poke in some fun earlier in the day when had a dig at the English batters for defending every ball. "No more entertaining cricket. Welcome back to the boring Test cricket,” taunted the Indian captain from the slips.
Seasoned batter Joe Root made a solid unbeaten 99 as England reached 251 for four at close on Day 1 of the third Test against India at Lord’s on Thursday.
Root (99 batting) and skipper Ben Stokes (39 batting) were at the crease when the stumps were drawn.
India had success in the first and final sessions of the day as pacer Nitish Kumar Reddy, premier quick Jasprit Bumrah and spinner Ravindra Jadeja were among the wickets.
