Kuldeep Yadav is likely to not be in the Playing XI for the 2nd Test. Reports suggest that Indian team management is looking to add Washington Sundar and Nitish Kumar Reddy as two all-rounders meaning Kuldeep will not be able to make a cut.
There were loud calls from experts and fans to include Kuldeep in the side after the bowling failed to defend 371 in the first Test.

The 1st Test recorded the highest-ever reach for a Test match on JioHotstar with 89.1 million viewers and a new benchmark of 13.7 billion minutes of watch-time, the official broadcaster said in a press release on Tuesday.

Doeschate on Bumrah
“It is [tempting to play Bumrah now], but we also feel we can go 1-1 or keep the score at 1-0 without Jasprit,” said India assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate. “Then again, that's putting the eggs in the back end of the series. We're going to need him at some stage as well. You’ve got to decide when you're going to play your strongest suit.”
