The highly-anticipated Netflix's Squid Game Season 3, returned in all its glory on June 27. The new season is the continuation of Season 2, and it has received mixed reactions by netizens. Fans are happy to see their favourite characters back on screen, but also disappointed with the deaths of some of the important characters. Many feels that the spark of the dystopian drama is all gone in the final chapter.
Lee Jung-jae’s Seong Gi-hun aka Player 456, is in shock and is distressed about what happened in the last season. Though he participates in the deadly games, most of the times he is seen brooding, but towards the end, he once again tries to help his fellow contestants to get out of the brutal game. In one of the scenes, he says, "We are not horses. We are humans," a message to those who are using them for pleasure.
Parallelly, Hwang Jun-ho (Wi Ha-joon), the detective is still trying to find out the people behind the games and for his brother, who is the Front Man (Lee Byung-hun).

The entire Korean series is directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk. The first season of Squid Game released in 2021, followed by second part in 2024.
