The Blue Colts beat South Korea in their opening match 4-2, taking a 3-0 lead into the half-time interval before seeing out what remained of the match in the two following quarters. India will play Spain next before finishing off their group stage campaign against Canada.

Odisha beat Mumbai by 86 runs in Alur and Bengal beat Punjab by 52 runs in Thane to and their respective league campaigns with wins. Remember, Haryana, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have already made the last-eight cut. The entire picture will be clear shortly, once all matches across groups are completed.
